Finance Business Partner

A quick look at the role As a Finance Business Partner, you will be the primary finance contact for our on site operations and commercial teams and support the financial control environment at our Polymers sites.
You will be critical in ensuring these teams are supported and challenged in the delivery of their financial performance while also providing valuable insight to aid in decision making.
This role will include site level responsibility for management reporting and driving process efficiencies wherever possible .
Your core responsibilities Primary finance support and contact for site management, developing a commercial partnering relationship while providing key metrics and analysis.
Provide financial expertise and guidance on new initiatives, investments, and projects.
Improve staff awareness at all levels of finance and cost / revenue benefits as a key factor in all business decisions.
Own the month end process and perform detailed variance analysis with detailed insights provided to all key stakeholders.
Present monthly results to senior personnel including Operational teams to enable understanding of profitability.
Prepare the full year budget, quarterly reforecasts and 5 year plan for the business unit with accompanying KPIs and be able to relay this to senior stakeholders.
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations to ensure controls are in place and being adhered to.
Identify and drive process improvements and efficiencies in the day-to-day role.
Provide end of year audit support giving full and adequate explanations to auditors where requested.
Manage a Financial Analyst .
Our essential requirements Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) Experience supporting and influencing operational colleagues Strong system skills including advanced Excel and some Power BI Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for strategic decision-making Management Accounts experience in a manufacturing environment an advantage .
