New opportunity - Finance Business Partner - up to £35k A long-standing client of ours are continuing through their growth and are now looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their Finance team.
This role is perfect for someone who has gained some experience in Finance and has already started their qualification, looking to take the first step into a Finance Business Partner role.
This dynamic role offers the opportunity to support the overall finance function, contribute to insightful reporting, and proactively drive improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, translating those into actionable plans.
Reporting and Analysis : Deliver insightful monthly and ad-hoc reporting within the finance team and to other business areas.
Support the Director of Finance and CFO with timely, relevant information for strategic assessments.
Financial Strategy : Work with the Finance Controller to support financial strategy, assist with the business plan, and contribute to key financial decision-making.
Monthly Management Accounts : Contribute to the production of monthly accounts, board pack content, P&Ls, balance sheets, management information, and rolling forecasts.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights.
System and Process Improvement : Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency, streamline reporting processes, and enhance document production for smoother finance function operations.
Project Support : Engage in finance and non-core finance projects, such as system implementations or CRM updates, as they arise.
Skills & Qualifications: Strong Excel skills, with a keen eye for numbers and detail.
Excellent analytical skills and high numeracy.
Currently working towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
