Finance Assistant

?My client, based in Stockton-on-Tees, is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their accounts team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing the weekly payroll, overseeing the sales ledger, and providing general financial support.
Full support will be provided to help you develop in this role, making it an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their finance career looking to enhance their finance skills.Key Responsibilities:Manage the sales ledger, raise invoices, and ensure timely credit controlReconcile invoices with purchase orders and prepare weekly BACS runsProcess payments, receipts, and perform bank reconciliationsHandle weekly payroll, HMRC submissions, and employee expensesAssist the team with administrative and ad hoc duties as neededWhat We're Looking For:A proactive individual eager to learn and support the Finance ManagerStrong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindsetA team player who is open to assisting in other areas of the businessA minimum of 1 year of finance experienceAdditional Information:Salary: £25,000 - £26,000Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday, with a 4:30 pm finish on Fridays)Annual bonusSupport and training
