About the role : This is an opportunity to join an exciting, fast paced, dynamic international company with an exciting slate of projects in a hands-on junior position.
The role is one of support for the accounting and business affairs departments.
Job Specifications : Working with the Business Affairs and Accounting Departments on matters including: • Processing supplier invoices and staff expenses for payment.
• Issuing sales invoices and maintaining the company's sales ledger.
• Reconciling company bank accounts.
• Assisting in preparing payroll.
• Preparing project and corporate financial analyses and reconciliations.
• Maintaining collection accounts for the company's financing slate.
• Processing, under supervision, of income statements, balance sheets and other management account reports.
Job requirements : • Experience with Xero accounts software.
• Creative industries experience, particularly film and TV.
• Experience managing payroll.
• Strong attention to detail, with capacity to build a thorough understanding of data management including data input.
• Strong desire to learn and develop skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of people at all levels of careers / stakeholders.• High level of organizational skills.
• Proficient utilization of Office Package (including excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must be a motivated self-starter who can prioritize and complete multiple tasks at a time.
• Must be comfortable working in a varied, high-speed and demanding environment and be a team player.
• Passion for cinema and a keen interest in entertainment industries is a plus.
