We are currently looking for an agile, adaptable, ambitious Finance Assistant to join our forward thinking, robust Finance team operating in high volume FMCG environment, based in Greenford, Middlesex.
You will be required to have working knowledge of core financial transaction processes, excellent communication and organisation skills, accurate, numerate with good attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, a strong team player.At the heart of our financial processes completing tasks and monitoring important areas of the business with a controls and risk mind set.
Support development of other key initiatives within the Finance department that are part of the significant change agenda.Finance Assistant Duties: Ledger administration, prepare and post journal ledger entriesGroup inter-company bank processes and reconciliationTransaction, cost monitoring, analysis and review.Preparing supplier payments.Reconciliation of inter-company transactions and accounts.Analyse, review and update staff expenses, credit card transactions.Reconcile ledger control and other specific accounts.Support management review of financial controls within the business, identify, document and implement improvements.Support preparation of monthly management accounts for group companies including consignment lot analysis and accounting.Support timely and accurate production of financial data for group companies.Support the budgeting and forecasting process.Maintain fixed assets registar.Gain experience in producing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Support the team with completion of ad hoc and progressive tasks.
