Role Purpose: We are looking for a Finance analyst to work across multiple workstreams and support the Commercial Planning and Trading team and wider business to make data-driven decision making to maximise returns to Good Causes.
Role Responsibilities: ? Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly trading reports to track key metrics and highlight trends for further analysis. Support the Product Finance Manager with improvements to the weekly and monthly trading reporting, ensuring it is robust but streamlined to produce and update Support the Senior Product Finance Manager and Product Finance Manager to perform deep dive analysis on game performance and track benefits from initiatives in the Annual Business Plan. Analysis and modelling to support the development and ongoing maintenance of Product P&L's to support planning and optimisation of activities to ensure we maximise returns to Good Causes. Prepare management summaries and reporting to clearly communicate the performance of Game Prize Reserves to aid decision-making and optimisation of activities that use the funds. Lead the preparation of Jackpot estimates for approval by the Finance Manager to ensure game marketing is accurate. Support the Senior Product Finance Manager and Product Finance Manager with the annual Budget and quarterly reforecast process, including the analysis of underlying performance trends and stakeholder management reporting. Champion and support the transformation of trading reporting through Power BI tools for enhanced analytics and automation. Assist with ad-hoc analysis queries from Product, Channel and Marketing teams. Key Skills and Experience: Part-qualified accountant or interest in pursuing an accounting qualification. Highly numerate with the ability to analyse, model and interpret data, including large data sets. MS Excel skills (Lookups, Pivots, Data Visualisation). Experience with BI tools an advantage. Self-starter with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
