Bank Holidays) Excellent internal support, training & development Opportunities to progress into the Sales or Installation teams The role: As a Field Service Engineer, you will be supporting our skilled and experienced staff with the maintenance, service and repair of woodwork machinery.
In this varied role, you will be working as part of the Field Team travelling to customer sites around the Midlands and occasionally further afield.
The role will require occasional overnight stays – all travel costs will be covered by AMS.
Diagnosing breakdown problems and faults Repairing, Installing and servicing specialist machinery Fitting new parts and ensuring equipment is working correctly, dealing with preventative maintenance.
Dealing with emergency call outs, unplanned problems and repairs Liaison with Service dept at HQ Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of workmanship and safety Fill out any required paperwork and ensure this is passed to the relevant person When required, help support our workshop engineers based at HQ.
Skills, experience and qualifications: Qualified and proven experience as a Field Service Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Mechanical Engineer with Electrical / Mechanical experience.
