The Role: As a Field Service Engineer, you will: Installation & Commissioning: Take charge of installing and commissioning state-of-the-art food production systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly from the start.
Maintenance & Support : Provide top-notch preventive and corrective maintenance, keeping systems at peak performance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Knowledge Enhancement: Travel to the company's head office in Europe occasionally to stay on top of the latest technological advancements and bring fresh insights to the team.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the UK team and interact with international colleagues to deliver exceptional service and support.
Administrative Duties: Keep accurate service reports and manage travel expenses efficiently.
Who We're Looking For: Experience At least five years in the food production industry or a related field, with a solid background in service engineering.
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and basic electrical skills, with experience in Siemens PLC controls a plus.
Travel Ready: Comfortable with extensive travel within the UK & Ireland and occasionally further afield.
Customer-Focused: Committed to delivering excellent customer service and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible: Open to occasional irregular hours and travel requirements.
Qualifications: Valid driving license and fluent in English.
