This opportunity has arisen for an engineer to work in petrol forecourt and convenience store environment on a wide variety of equipment from epos systems to forecourt equipment such as EV charges, payment terminals and more.
Our client develops, implements and supports the technologies necessary to successfully operate a modern forecourt or convenience store.
This role would suit someone with EPOS experience and has the desire to move into a new fast paced role.
A good attitude and desire to learn and develop are both key for our client.
You will be required to cover South West, Devon, Cornwall & surrounding areas.
Some flexibility is asked for to cover other parts of England when required on occasion.
There are also plenty of opportunities to progress within engineering or different areas of the business.
We cannot stress enough how much the business values their engineers and the role offers both the training and support required daily to ensure that the successful applicant is both happy and successful during their time at work.
You will be required to work one weekend in four and there is an on call requirement for that week.
On target earnings will therefore be £33,250.
Job specification Fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance on a range of mechanical and electronic petrol forecourt equipment including although not exclusively: fuel dispensing pumps; POS; pump controllers; tank gauges; DCDs; tank probes; submerged pump systems and integral PA systems Fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of EPOS and peripherals, Back Office PC, Servers, routers and network equipment Completion of planned preventative maintenance programs Assessment and reporting of accidental damage for costing purposes Commissioning of new and refurbished sites Inventory management of van stock Verification calibration of new and refurbished fuel dispensers subject to certification.
Personal Specification Epos or IT skills.
Good communicator as you will be on site interacting with our customers.
Team player.
Can-do proactive attitude.
Ability to handle pressure with support of management.
Good organisational skills.
The role will include a company van and fuel expenses as well as 25 days annual leave per year.
