Field Engineer As a home-based Field Engineer, you will work under guidance and supervision during the initial months, gradually taking on independent responsibilities.
This role involves conducting on-site evaluations of products, systems, devices, processes, and materials at various certified manufacturing facilities.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients adhere to technical standards and apply certifications in compliance with all relevant guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: Perform both safety and non-safety certification audits, field inspections, and quality assessments according to specified standards and criteria.
Oversee testing procedures, analyse results, and assess compliance with relevant standards.
Conduct detailed quality audits on-site with clients, assessing operational compliance.
Review and validate manufacturers' measuring instruments and inspect production records.
Complete documentation using specified forms and procedures.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support the successful delivery of complex, multi-departmental projects.
Candidate Requirements: Possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited institution in Engineering or an applicable field (e.g., Manufacturing Technology, Physics, Engineering Technology).
Minimal prior experience is required, typically no more than one year.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Technical expertise in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Residing in the UK with a valid UK driver's license.
Native-level English proficiency.
At least five years of experience within the electromechanical sector.
Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9000.
Excellent communication skills and a strong, client-centered approach.
Availability to travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional travel to Scandinavian countries.
