V3 are recruiting for a field based in - store merchandiser.
This role would involve visiting retail hardware stores to promote our clients' services.
You would ensure that the brand is well represented with good product availability in all the stores.
We are ideally looking for someone from a strong retail background with excellent customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will be over 21 years old and hold a clean driving license as this role would involve driving to various DIY stores mainly in North Hampshire and Thames Valley area.
A small van and uniform will be provided with the role.
This role is 37.5 hours a week with a salary of £25,000 per annum with a bonus paid on in store signs.
Job Purpose As the Retail Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the maintenance and engagement of retail stockists of skip bags.
For many customers, their first part of the service starts in store and it is essential to ensure that our brand is represented well with good product availability.
The Retail Sales Executive will also be the face to many of our stores, which will include engagement with store colleagues, so they have the product knowledge required to sell to their customers.
There will also be new store sales activity, to engage with new sites across a chain who sells skipbags elsewhere, to improve the availability across the country Key Tasks 1.
Visit Skip bags stockists 1.1Complete a scheduled visit plan of stockists, managing the logistical operation of daily route planning 1.2Complete visit reports on the Repsly App, to capture key details and information which feeds into the Retail Database 1.3Engage with store colleagues, supporting with any queries they have and provide product training when required 1.4Support stores with stocking issues such as stock misalignment, ensuring store systems are accurate allowing the correct automated forecast and replenishment to take place 1.5Encourage stock orders of stores who purchase their own stock, to ensure a suitable stock holding is always available 1.6Improve display locations to ensure the skip bags are available in the best location in each store, including multiple locations if applicable 2.
Merchandising checks 2.1Maintain stand condition to a high standard, including POS and product packaging 2.2Repair or replace damage where required, or order replacement parts and follow through for stores to implement later 2.3Report all stand condition and damage on the Repsly App 2.4Ensure collection pricing on all packaging is correct 3.
New store sales 3.1Engage with new stores to promote and sell the product, in brands who already sell the bags elsewhere in their chain 3.2Support them through onboarding including stock orders, merchandising and training 3.3Identify new retailer opportunities to the Sales Manager 3.4Support independent retailers with stock orders and new sign up activities 4.
Retail Management 4.1Support the Sales Manager in store engagement and planning 4.2Feedback regular reports on the store environment and competitor changes 4.3Plan out scheduling to complete cycle of scheduled visits and to new stockist to support with training and set up 4.4Support the Sales Manager with field sales activities Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required to support the needs of the business.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for visual presentation and an ability to work collaboratively with store staff to enhance the customer experience and achieve the business objectives.
