Responsibilities of the Field Based Account Manager Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Field Based Account Manager will be responsible for covering the Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire areas.
The role is mainly looking after existing business, but the Field Based Account Manager will also be responsible for developing new business from sales activities to positively contribute to the growth of the company.
Ability to nurture and develop a portfolio of existing customers through relationship building and support.
Ability to build, manage and generate own leads through LinkedIn, cold calling and referrals to win new business.
Build strong client relationships and work collaboratively across functions.
Understand complex customer requirements & build appropriate solutions for customers.
Have an understanding of the Tender/RFI process & be comfortable taking ownership of these.
Effectively manage escalations and hold relevant teams accountable for delivery of positive customer experience and service levels.
Requirements of the Field Based Account Manager Be able to demonstrate strong (B2B) sales experience with proven success.
Be able to demonstrate consultative selling acumen and refined, confident closing skills.
Be willing to travel and efficiently plan and manage time to achieve targets.
Be able to demonstrate excellent presentation skills.
