We care for adults aged 19 - 60 who have learning difficulties and Mental Health issues.

THE ROLE We have a fantastic opportunity for Night Support Worker to join our team in Reading.
You will join us on a full-time contract in return for a competitive salary.
The service provides support to adults with mental health issues, assisting them to live life the way they want in their own environment.
You will work closely with Service Manager to ensure that people we support are at the centre of what we do.
People we support in Reading are very independent, who very often only need assistance of our support staff and senior support workers to enable them to return to their lives.
Specific tasks of the role include, but are not limited to: \n Communicate with support workers to provide support, guidance and information.
\n To assist with medication and accurate recording of medication.
\n Develop and maintain a professional relationship with people we support and help them to develop necessary life skills and satisfy needs.
\n Provide hands on support when required.
\n Your standard working hours would between Monday to Sunday on a rota basis.
\n Skills and Experience required: \n Ideally you will have experience of working in a team in a supported living environment however guidance and support from our experienced manager will be provided \n Personal care is required in all our locations so you will have experience providing personal care.
\n Experience with Mental Health, excellent written and spoken English.
\n Extensive knowledge of UK culture.
\n This role requires a high level of physical fitness, working in a sometimes physically demanding enviroment.
\n You don't need to be a driver as service has very good commuting links.
