Job DescriptionProvide support at the client's home and various non-medical services that enhance the quality of their life.
To help the client and their family meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care, and compassion.COMPANIONSHIP SERVICESPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Offer friendly companionship and conversationCooking healthy and nutritious food – also grocery shoppingProvide medication reminders, collect prescriptionsStimulate and encourage through a variety of activities e.g.
Hobbies and craftsAssist with walking (lending an arm to steady)Accompany appointments and social events seeing family and friendsHOME HELP SERVICESPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Provide light housekeeping/complete laundryMake beds/change linenPlan, prepare, and tidy away mealsPERSONAL CARE SERVICESPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Help with bathing, dressing and groomingHelp with continence careAssist to eat and drinkQualificationsYou must be a resident of Cardiff, Barry or Penarth.Have access to a private vehicleMust be female Please note we do NOT offer sponsorship.
