The Fault Studies (Deterministic Safety Analysis) Team Lead will lead a team of engineers in producing fault studies and safety case documentation crucial for the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) of the SMR-300 reactor, contributing to the global advancement of clean energy.
Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of Fault Studies, Severe Accidents, and Internal/External Hazards safety case documentation.
Provide line management, coaching, and mentoring to develop technical and personal skills within the team.
Interact with regulators, explaining analytical methods and models for fault studies and hazard assessments.
Skills and Experience: Proficiency in fault studies, hazard assessments, and thermal hydraulic behaviour of nuclear reactors.
Experience in developing nuclear safety cases and managing technical teams.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Eligible to work under 10 CFR Part 810.
