This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Early Years Service.
We pay an attractive salary of £26,241 - £28,770 and offer access to training and development opportunities. The Caerphilly Early Years and Childcare Service is recruiting an experienced worker to deliver our family support interventions in the home, in the community, and virtually. The support includes bespoke family support intervention working with the family to tackle the root cause of issues raised. This post has a specific focus to support families with mental health and wellbeing concerns whilst being an integral part of the family support provision and the wider Early Years team. The offer also includes delivery of antenatal, postnatal, and various parenting/family support programmes as identified by the family. All interventions are for children aged 0-7 years aiming to help parents support their child's development and enhance family resilience.
While the post is based in Parc Y Felin ICC, the successful applicant will be expected to work in an agile way across the borough in homes and community venues, as well as some working from home. This post is part of a wider Early Years and Childcare Team and partnership working is essential.
For the role, we ask that you have: A relevant Level 3 qualification Experience of working with children aged 0-7 and parents in groups and individual families. Experience in delivering packages of family support in the home or community. Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business/work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings and visit families at their home.
