We are looking for a part time Family Wellbeing worker to join our Family Help team based in Charnwood locality.

social care, health or childcare, OR substantial experience in providing direct support to families.
Experience of working with families experiencing difficulties in parenting or behaviour management.
Experience of working with children, young people, and/or families Knowledge and awareness of issues which may have an impact on the lives of families such as domestic violence and abuse, mental health difficulties, substance misuse, poverty, housing Knowledge of child development and Early Years Foundation Stage Experience of carrying out assessments, support planning, formulating action plans and reporting outcomes An understanding of the impact of discrimination on the lives of those from minority ethnic communities and others that experience social exclusion, and an ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.In addition, we also expect you to share and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.Reasonable adjustments will be considered for applicants with a disability.Interested in Flexible Working?We are keen to support employees to balance their working life with other commitments.
