You prioritize the safety and emotional well-being of children and young people, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
You are skilled in fostering positive relationships and providing both practical and emotional support to parents, ensuring that Family Time is a positive experience for all.
Your ability to work with diverse families and manage interactions between wider family groups is essential.
What the Job Involves Supporting the delivery of safe and effective supervised Family Time sessions.
Maintaining Family Time arrangements as agreed in meetings.
Understanding and complying with procedures for promoting and safeguarding children's safety and welfare.
Observing and recording the quality of parenting, preparing clear reports for the Social Work Team and the court.
Using electronic systems to record information, photos, and memorabilia related to the childs journey.
Recognizing risks and intervening to de-escalate them, adhering to confidentiality and risk assessment processes.
Complying with Health and Safety policies, Data Protection policies, and ensuring everyone's well-being.
Participating in personal and group supervision, as well as appraisal processes for skill development.
Working flexibly, including weekends and evenings, to meet service needs, and carrying out reasonable duties as required.
Collaborating with team members, promoting Diversity & Equality policies, and respecting all individuals.
Completing all induction aspects and undertaking mandatory training requirements.
