Job description Job responsibilities Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesSee detailed job description for an over view of the main responsibilities of this exciting and innovative post.Please note once we have received a sufficient number of applications, this post may close sooner than the advertised date.Applicants must have either a Diploma or MSc in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy and be registered, or eligible for registration, with the UKCP / AFT division as a Family Psychotherapist, or be on a Family Therapy MSc Training Course.Previous applicants need not apply.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential *Intermediate qualification in Systemic Psychotherapy *A registered qualification in health care at graduate level in nursing, social work, allied health professional AND Post-qualification training in Systemic psychotherapy (Family Therapy) OR Professional training in one or more Psychological Therapies including Systemic psychotherapy (Family Therapy) AND accredited membership of the relevant body: UKCP for Family Therapy" *Training or qualification in a recognised model of supervision, or eligibility and willingness to train as a clinical supervisor in the relevant modality Experience Essential *Highly developed specialist knowledge across the range of work procedures and practices, underpinned by theoretical knowledge and relevant practical experience of the relevant modality.
Desirable *Significant experience of working in the relevant therapy modality with adults with severe and complex mental health problems Additional Criteria Essential *Ability to communicate complex condition related information to service users and carers.
*Ability to provide and receive highly complex and highly sensitive information using the highest level of interpersonal and communication skills in order to overcome hostile, antagonistic or highly emotive atmospheres.
*Ability to provide detailed advice to other professionals and non-specialists.
*Able to Drive within the county of Somerset *Ability to be an effective team player with good communication and liaison skills.
*Ability to maintain own caseload and prioritise workload, ensuring quality in own work and encouraging others to maintain quality also.
