Fai Engineer

Overview FAI EngineerRequired to work onsite.This role falls inside IR35 and will require the use of an Umbrella Company.Frequency of assignment:37-40 hours per weekDuration of assignment:4 -5 monthsIdeal skills, experience and qualifications to perform this activity:A proven Aerospace backgroundA track record of preparing, reviewing and validating FAIRs to AS9102 requirements.A Competent, good communicator and self-driven.Experienced in generating FAIs and competent with the use of Discus, Net Inspect & Visual FAIR.It would also be advantageous to be able to use SAP and Solumina Manufacturing Execution System.Specific products / commodity details:Composite Pipes and Isolators, Transmission Shafts and Structural Aircraft Tie Rods and StrutsActivity and primary duties to be delivered:Work with internal departments to prepare First Article Inspection ReportsReview FAIs in line with customer and drawing requirements to ensure completeness, working with the relevant departments to resolve any gaps.Document issues to identify any trends and OFIsSpecific Standards or Specification applicable:AS9100 and AS9102 Not finding what you're looking for or not ready to make the leap quite yet?
