About the Role As a Saw Operator, you'll play a vital role in the operation of the machine shop at their Kelleythorpe site.
Reporting directly to the Machine Shop Manager, you'll be responsible for: \n Operating the bandsaw and other machinery as needed.
\n Working with fine tolerances, using both imperial and metric measurements.
\n Managing the steel stores area and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
\n Keeping your work area clean and organised to a high standard.
\n About You We're looking for someone with: \n Understanding of manufacturing and machine operation.
\n A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
\n The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
\n An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
\n \n The company values teamwork, so building positive relationships with colleagues will be key to your success.
\n An FLT (Forklift Truck Counterbalance) licence would be a bonus, but training can be provided.
