Train Cleaner Manchester Ardwick Rates: £13.19p/h Hours: 8pm-5am - 4 on 4 off pattern.

Working with one of our client's, we are currently seeking a Train Cleaner to join their team.
Responsibilities include: * Cleaning the interior and exterior of train carriages * Completing defined and described tasks and routine related work.
* Receiving general direction from a supervisor.
* Using tools and power equipment for cleaning purposes * Keeping equipment, indoor and outdoor industrial and office sites in a clean and operating condition.
Principal Accountabilities: * Undertaking the cleaning of allocated rolling stock with minimal supervision to meet the requirements of the production plan, while complying with all local instructions and specifications.
* Undertaking external cleaning of the train using manual methods.
* Cleaning specific driveline systems by means of brushing or compressed air.
* Performing fuelling, tanking, and Controlled Emission Toilet (CET) operation as required.
* Assisting other team members where appropriate.
* Reporting all defects to the Supervisor.
* Conducting underframe cleaning specific to the site.
* Undertaking any other duties as required.
Knowledge & Experience: * Knowledge of Health and Safety, including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), and manual handling.
* Good communication skills, both oral and written.
* Knowledge of cleaning equipment and relevant chemicals.
