Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Facilities Technician to join our team in Wynyard, supporting our customer Asda.
You will monitor and evidence compliance for Health and Safety, including completion of logging for the fire alarm and emergency lighting upkeep while maintain the highest standards of hygiene, maintenance, repair and health and safety.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominate working Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

You'll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more What you'll do on a typical day: Support working with the security provider ensuring that all security measures are carried out in line with site requirements To assist in key holder duties as required including on call arrangements for out of hours operations Liaise with contractors on site for any repair/building ensuring that au necessary permit to work schemes, risk assessments and method statements are applied Support internal training workshops and toolbox talks across breadth of disciplines What you need to succeed at GXO: Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations Previous experience or knowledge of working with FLT/bailer type plant Work unsupervised and take responsibility when needed to support the network We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
