Main duties of the job We provide Facilities Support Services to a mental health and learning disabilities Trust.
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to oversee our operations and ensure the highest standards of environments across Domestic Services, Catering, Switchboard and Portering.

Person Specification Knowledge and Skill Essential Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire, Lifting/Handling and Risk Assessment Regulations Sound knowledge and experience of Soft FM techniques and methods A sound knowledge of Food Preparation, Food hygiene and food service Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Organisation Skills Ability to meet the mobility requirements of the post Desirable Willingness to learn new skills during training NHS/Healthcare establishments Policies and procedures Basic computer skills Experience Essential Previous supervisory skills (or transferable experience) Ability to communicate with a wide variety of staff Desirable Previous NHS/health care setting experience Experience within multiple elements of SOFT FM or transferable skills Qualifications Essential Hold a recognised Qualification such as NVQ Levels 1 and 2 in a relevant Soft FM department NVQ Level 3 supervisory qualification or equivalent experience Intermediate Food hygiene Certificate or willingness to work towards Desirable Health and Safety Qualification
