Location – Memorial House, Coalville, Leicestershire Hours – 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am – 4.30pm Salary – £23,441 - £26,045 per annum (RFJ 4) The role The Facilities team are looking for a Facilities Operative to join their team who will be based at the head office in Coalville.
This role will be responsible for providing reactive and preventative maintenance ensuring that the facilities are safe and functional so that our employees can work under the best conditions at all EMH office sites.
This position would suit somebody who has previous caretaker or handyperson experience.
Duties will include carrying out minor maintenance repairs to all office buildings covering spaces such as offices, toilets, meeting rooms, kitchens, communal areas and external spaces.
Ensuring that all Health and Safety procedures and policies are upheld, and any issues reported in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate The successful candidate will have previous experience in maintaining building elements, fixtures and fittings both interior and exterior and have experience with planning and scheduling of maintenance works.
You will be able to work independently and have the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting.
You will have a strong attention to detail and be competent in using electrical power and hand tools.
