Job Description We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our client's team in South Manchester.
In this pivotal role, you will ensure that the premises provide a professional atmosphere for customers, visitors, and staff, while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities: \n Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, managing building access and overseeing incoming and outgoing mail.
\n Manage the delivery, budgets, and expenses related to soft services, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
\n Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, managing agents, suppliers, and contractors to address issues and improve services.
\n Develop and implement service schedules and procedures for consistent and effective operations.
\n Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, risk assessments, and maintaining building health and safety standards.
\n Oversee site changes, including fit-outs, building improvements, emergency repairs, and office moves.
\n Maintain accurate records of FM contract obligations, planned maintenance, and lifecycle works.
\n Write, review, and implement policies and procedures relating to health and safety.
\n What We're Looking For: \n \n Essential: IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
\n Experience in facilities management, particularly in ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
\n A collaborative approach to supplier and stakeholder management.
\n Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions.
\n What We Offer: \n Salary: £32,500 - £37,500 DOE.
\n 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
