We're recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator on behalf of our client in West Sussex - If you have exceptional organizational skills and thrive in a role that combines planning, problem-solving, and hands-on coordination, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
From scheduling routine inspections to managing emergency repairs, you'll play a key role in keeping our client's environment safe and functional.
Working closely with the Facilities Team, you'll coordinate with both internal teams and external vendors, ensuring all maintenance activities align to a high standard.
What you'll be doing: Maintenance Scheduling & Coordination: Develop, manage, and optimize maintenance schedules for all facilities, ensuring regular upkeep and timely repairs.
Vendor & Inventory Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and keep an organized inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is on hand when needed.
Safety Compliance & Inspections: Collaborate with the Facilities Team on Health and Safety compliance, conduct regular safety inspections, and promptly address any concerns.
Budget & Cost Management: Support the Facilities Manager in preparing the maintenance budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Emergency Response: Take the lead on emergency maintenance activities, coordinating resources for quick and effective solutions.
Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work orders, inspections, and repairs; assist with Reception Desk cover as needed.
What we're looking for: Excellent Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: You can assess issues quickly, determine the best course of action, and coordinate resources effectively.
Organizational Mastery: Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage schedules, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable working with diverse teams and external partners, ensuring clear, effective communication.
Attention to Detail & Quality Focus: You have a keen eye for detail and are dedicated to maintaining a high level of quality in all maintenance activities.
Flexibility: Willingness to work outside of regular hours occasionally to support the Global Technology Centre's needs.
Self-Motivated Team Player: Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
