Main purpose of the role: The Facilities Coordinator will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of all facilities and building management activities within the organisation.
This role involves coordinating maintenance tasks, handling contractor communications, managing facilities stock and supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
The Facilities Coordinator is key to maintaining an efficient, safe, and well-functioning environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Required Education and Industry Experience: Previous experience in a similar facilities role.
Familiarity with building services and maintenance systems NEBOSH or IOSH certification (or willingness to work towards) would be desirable.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations would be desirable.
Planned Preventative Maintenance Contractors and Suppliers Management Required Skills and attributes: Good planning and organisational skills Ability to multi-task Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing workloads Clear communication skills Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental impact within facilities management would be desirable.
