Facilities Assistant

Job Description Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Facilities Assistant for 21 hours per week, however there is a possibility for more hours.
The contract is for an initial 12 month on a rate of £12.14/hour PAYE.
Responsibilities: - Provide a security presence at the front desk, monitoring users entering and leaving the Library, ensuring Library policies are adhered to.
- Respond to everyday enquiries, for example location of rooms, referring to others (e.g.
Helpdesk) as necessary - Distribute stationery and other supplies, moving of books, shelving, furniture and equipment within and around Main Library, Argyle House and IS sites - Participate in the recycling of materials, collection and disposal of recyclable materials from the Main Library, Argyle House and local IS sites.
- Accompany contractors in secure areas whilst in Main Library, Argyle House and other IS sites.
- Prepare rooms for meetings and seminars, to predefined plans when required.
