We are excited to be working with this leading FTSE business in their search for a Legal Counsel.
This role is based in the office near Derby.This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis with an expectation for frequent office attendance.About the RoleSeeking a solid Commercial Lawyer with strong experience negotiating, drafting and advising on a broad range of supplier and business partnership contracts for all areas of the Group's businesses including: commercial, supply chain, events, marketing, ecommerce, franchising and licensing, IT & technology, outsourcing, and finance.Ability to provide advise on marketing and promotional activity including CAP code compliance for advertisements, promotions, competitions, and product packaging.Providing support on the legal aspects of digital marketing and website operations.Ability to give advise on general IP work.Advising and supporting as and when required on customer complaints and handling disputes and small claims.Supervising junior members of the team.ResponsibilitiesQualified solicitor with UK experience.Strong experience working within Commercial contract negotiation.Experience working in the retail/FMCG sector advantageousStrong communicator.Commercially minded.This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a talented legal team, where no day will be the same and you will have the chance to be involved in a variety of law and grow within this impressive company!If you are interested, please kindly share your CV with Sarah - ******
