We are looking for a skilled Fabricator to contribute to our projects.Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team on a 12-month contract.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, welding, and assembly, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.Key Responsibilities: Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
Perform cutting, shaping, and assembling of metal components using various tools and equipment.
Operate welding machines to join metal parts, ensuring strong and precise welds.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve fabrication issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Document work processes and maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or metal fabrication preferred.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding).
Ability to operate fabrication machinery such as shears, presses, and grinders.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and working in various positions.
