Fabrications Surveyor Field based – Berkshire / Oxfordshire / Bedfordshire / Midlands area ICB (Fabrications) Ltd We are one of the UK's leading suppliers of architectural aluminium profiles within the construction industry as well as being one of the UK's leading suppliers of waterproofing solutions, predominantly for flat roofs, and due to continued growth, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Fabrications Surveyor to join our ever-expanding team.
    This is a permanent field-based position that offers an attractive salary, company car plus additional benefits.
Normal working hours: 39.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm / Fri 8.30am - 4.00pm   Key Responsibilities:   ·         Site Visits ·         Conduct surveys and prepare the necessary information/documentation for quotations to be produced and/or fabrication drawings to be created ·         Survey buildings with accurate measurements ·         Generate detailed survey reports outlining findings, observations, and recommendations ·         Collaborate with contractors, customers and other stakeholders to gather relevant information, advise and promote our company, products and services ·         Ensure work is carried out to specification and to a high standard including any Health & Safety requirements ·         Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practice Requirements Essential: ·      Must have a full driving licence due to travel requirements and occasional overnight stays ·         Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication ·         Be able to understand detailed drawings ·         Proven experience in surveying or in a related field ·         Good IT/Microsoft skills ·         Strong analytical and mathematical skills ·         Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills ·         Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities ·         Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions ·         Be self-motivated and ability to work alone   Desired:   ·         AutoCAD or SolidWorks ·         Estimating Benefits In return, we are offering the successful candidate an attractive salary, 25 days annual leave, inclusive of a shut down for the Christmas period, plus bank holidays.
