The external stakeholder engagement lead role is critical in ensuring our transformation is the best it can be.
As we deliver change, there are two key ways in which we need to engage external stakeholders with the transformation we are delivering.
You will need to work closely with national charities and support organisations to understand their concerns and identify opportunities for co-design.
You will need to be comfortable representing the Department both virtually and in-person, engaging with external partners ranging from CEOs of national charities to front line support workers.
The role will involve you developing, curating and delivering a regular drumbeat of DWP events, but also participating in events held by external organisations.
Social Security Scotland are introducing new disability benefits on behalf of the Scottish Government, alongside new systems and ways of working.
It is critical that HTP learns from the unique insight and experiences of Social Security Scotland, to work more closely with them to deliver the best transformation possible.
You will be the key conduit between Social Security Scotland and HTP.
You will facilitate communications at both a senior and working level, building and maintaining relationships which allow opportunities for collaboration.
In addition, you will host events that bring colleagues together from both sides in Scotland, establishing the space and buy-in for HTP colleagues such as analysts, user researchers, digital and design colleagues to work with their Scottish counterparts to design core elements of our transformation.

The interview will comprise of Behaviour-Based questions, shorter strength based questions and a 5 minute presentation.
