This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the economic regeneration of the area through securing significant external funding.
Job Opportunity: External Funding Bid Writer Location: Remote Pay Rate: Negotiable Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week) or part-time available Assignment Duration: 6 months temporary with potential extension Key Responsibilities: Research, coordinate, and develop high-quality funding applications to secure external resources for strategically important projects.
Work across diverse priorities including regeneration, green spaces, health and social care, heritage, and culture.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including the voluntary and community sector, to build partnerships and maximise funding opportunities.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience in developing successful funding proposals and building partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Familiarity with various funders, including Lottery providers and government departments (e.g., MHCLG, DESNZ, DEFRA).
Strong writing, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and strong budget development skills.
