Export Coordinator

Due to growth and expansion, a global manufacturer has a new vacancy for an Import & Export Coordinator to join the team.
You will manage the end-to-end supply chain process, coordinating imports and exports to ensure timely deliveries and will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities: Control all Import & Export documentation to ensure compliance with company polices and legal requirements.
Work closely with customs brokers and haulers to ensure smooth delivery of products.
Assist sales team with paperwork for emerging markets.
Train internal staff on both company and legal requirements to ensure compliance.
Work with shipping coordinator, warehouse manager and operations to ensure business objectives are met and customer expectations are achieved.
Manage and input data for freight bookings into CHIEF for declaration of goods.
Ensure compliance with national and international legislations and regulations.
Supporting all export shipping activities including documentation and licencing.
Continuously monitor and improve processes.
Oversee all import/customs entries, providing clearance instructions to forwarders and maintaining internal customs records.
The Candidate: Proven experience managing UK, EU and US exports.
A good understanding of EU & US control regulations.
Ability to manage time & priorities.
Good knowledge of export documentation.
Works well under pressure with the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing demands.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
Able to identify areas for improvement & make valuable suggestions.
