An experienced, healthy and nutrionally aware chef is required for a private client with two children (age 11 and 13) in Hampstead, NW3.
In an ideal world, the client is looking for a chef that can be present Monday to Friday, and committed to the client and able to be there to cook and serve breakfast fresh, prepare a packed lunch for the female principal to take to work, and prepare afternoon snacks and an evening meal (to be present in the house to cook and serve), and food for the weekend.
This job is ONLY suitable for someone settled in London, committed to a role and ideallyl living in North London, or commutable distance to Hampstead.They eat breakfast at 7am, so the chef would need to arrive at 6.30am (latest) if they are to be present for this meal.
The client is happy if the chef is able to train up her housekeeper to serve the breakfast, leaving it prepared in the fridge the night before clearly labelled and organised ready for service.
Dinner is served around 6.30/7pm, but can vary depending on the childrens after school activities.
It is essential the chef is passionate about cooking healthily and has some good ideas for no sugar or carb diets, with lots of protein etc.
The chef must be happy to follow specific recipes and nutritional menu plans, but must also be able to menu plan themselves in line with the clients current diet requirements.If the chef is able to teach the children some cookery as well, this would be favourable.
The chef should be professional and discreet, organised and efficient, but must be nutritionally aware and experienced, able to produce really good and well presented food.The female principal is very passionate about gut health and has high protein, no carbs or sugar.

They use Samsung Food and NY Times Cooking apps for recipes and nutritional breakdowns and they also use online database of cookbooks CKBK.
The cook needs to be digitally aware and organised with their ordering and menu plans, and will have full control over the kitchen stock/cupboards and must keep these organised.
The client is a very busy working single mother and it is important the cook is efficient and on it!Hourly rate paid on a freelance basis initially, then there is the option to go on a payroll if it is all working out.
