Experience Engineer
As an Experience Engineer, you will be responsible for helping shape and grow our physical and digital healthcare solutions to enable care at home.
You will be a core member of the UX team and partner with our product management, engineering, supply chain and other cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional user experience through our services and supporting products.
In this unique role, you will support the team's effort in increasing scalability of our current product offering with a direct and real impact on our products, packaging and design language.
Our products and services will require a focus on solving complex problems by creating simple solutions to benefit our healthcare providers and patients.
You will be a driving force ensuring that the solutions delivered are unified across physical, digital, and service design.
What you'll do Enable care at home by designing and developing unified physical and digital healthcare solutions e.g.
app flows, physical packaging, user guidesRepresent the UX team within cross-functional projects, working with a range of stakeholders including; product managers, supply chain, QA/RA and software engineering to achieve key deliverablesCreate product delivery solutions driven by customer needs, business goals and user experienceSupported by research, create prototypes and conduct performance and usability testing to guide iterative product developmentUtilise CAD to design and develop concepts, visualise ideas and prepare high quality designs and documentation for productionCreate and maintain technical documentation, such as technical drawings, BOMs, design/engineering change notes, work instructions and specifications Basic qualifications BSC/BEng/BA or equivalent in relevant field, i.e.- Industrial Design, Product Design, Design Engineering or equivalent industry experienceExperienced 3D CAD user - 1 year+ of commercial experienceExperience in a regulated industry and working to recognised standards (e.g.
ISO 13485, ISO 9001)Ensuring the team are meeting the applicable regulatory standards throughout the design and development process and that relevant evidence and documentation is gatheredAn understanding of the holistic nature of a product with physical and digital aspects Preferred qualifications Ability to demonstrate a high level of creativity and innovation displaying a broad skill set across the physical and digital design spectrumSome experience in developing a range of UX and design artefacts including research summaries, sketches, user scenarios and product renderingsExperience with packaging design including cardboard, accessories and vacuum form designExperience with working on a SAAS productExcellent problem-solving skills A knowledge of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keyshot, Artios CAD, Solidworks PDM3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)Experience working with an electronic quality management system/document controlAn understanding of supply chain and the designer's role within this What's in it for you
