Expenses Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated Expenses Administrator to join our friendly and collaborative payroll team.
If you have a keen eye for detail, are able to work to strict deadlines with excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset, this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities: Resolve all expenses discrepancies/queries, investigating where required.
Calculate and process expense payments accurately Collaborate with team members to meet weekly and monthly payroll and billing deadlines.
Ensure VAT treatment is correctly established and apply statutory deductions for Income Tax and NICs where applicable.
Maintain compliance with GDPR legislation.
Serve as the point of contact for all contract and client queries, ensuring a two-hour SLA through RT queues.
As part of the team rota, provide cover for payroll administrative duties.
Achieve team and individual KPIs consistently.
Complete weekly tasks assigned by the team manager.
Contribute to continuous process improvement through cross-training and document management.
Cross-train with other payroll teams to support internal and external implementation requirements.
Collaborate with peers, supervisors, and managers to review and improve processes, identifying opportunities for automation.
What we're looking for: Previous experience in a similar role within expenses/payroll would be highly advantageous.
An understanding of PAYE, VAT and different types of workers would be beneficial.
Education to A-level or above or equivalent.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail.
The ability to investigate complex expenses and ensure claims are processed accurately.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and meet specific deadlines.
Good customer service skills.
