The Position Meeting with candidates in-person/virtually to understand their skill set and career aspirations Meeting with clients in-person/virtually to understand their business, growth plans and qualify vacancies In-depth research into your industry so you become an expert in your field Building specialised databases on Microsoft Excel Headhunting candidates for difficult to fill vacancies Negotiating contracts of employment with candidates/terms of business with clients Requirements You would have had some experience of running your desk as a recruiter within your niche (Hospitality/ Property/ Finance/ Law/ Pharma).
