The Role As Executive Director of Property and Assets, you will: Lead the development and implementation of Moat' long-term asset management strategy, delivering safe, high-quality, and sustainable homes.
Oversee property services, including responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and major refurbishments, ensuring excellent standards and value for money.
Drive sustainability initiatives, incorporating energy-efficient practices and innovative solutions into property management.
Ensure compliance with housing regulations, health and safety laws, and Moat' professional standards.
Optimise the performance of assets by managing investment, addressing underperforming properties, and identifying regeneration opportunities.
Lead and develop the Property Services team, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with Moat' values.
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, regulatory bodies, and external partners to enhance service delivery.
Provide strategic advice to the Chief Executive and Board, reporting on the performance and condition of Moat's property portfolio.
About You To excel in this role, you will bring: Extensive experience in asset and property management, ideally within the social housing sector.
Proven leadership of large property portfolios and high-performing teams.
Deep understanding of housing regulations, health and safety legislation, and building standards.
Financial expertise in budget planning, forecasting, and cost control.
A commitment to sustainability and a track record of implementing energy-efficient solutions.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships.
Relevant professional qualifications in housing, property, or a related field (e.g., RICS, CIH, CIOB).
