Role - Senior Chef Manager Location: Large Secondary School, Slough Hours: Monday to Friday, Term-Time Only Salary: up to 38K term time only Meals: Approximately 600 Fresh, Innovative Meals Per Day We're seeking a passionate and experienced Chef Manager to lead our busy kitchen in a large secondary school in Slough.
This term-time-only role offers the chance to work weekdays with weekends and school holidays off, making it ideal for a chef looking for a balanced schedule in a vibrant school setting.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and prepare fresh, creative meals that inspire and delight students and staff Manage the production of approximately 600 meals daily Oversee kitchen operations, including ordering, budgeting, and compliance with health and safety standards Innovate with nutritious and balanced menus, catering to a diverse range of dietary requirements Requirements: Proven experience in a chef management role , ideally in an educational or high-volume environment A passion for creating delicious, healthy meals Strong leadership skills to manage a team and ensure smooth service Join us in making a positive impact with food that fuels young minds and enriches the school day!
