Job Title: Executive Assistant to CEO, Business & Commercial Banking

Salary: From £120,000+ (dependent on experience)

Location: London

Hours: Full-Time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About This Opportunity: This is an outstanding opportunity to lead the Executive office and provide direct support to our CEO, Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) in all matters relating to the CEO.

You'll play a vital role to influence key internal and external customers, deputise for senior colleagues and contribute to the broader BCB strategy, goals and business decision making of the area.

Responsibilities include: Prepare, analyse, review, brief and present a range of sophisticated reports and papers typically for the Board, Group Executive Committee or other senior committees. Handle the operation of the GEC, Board and Group Risk Committees BCB updates, writing and reviewing Executive and Board papers. Run the end to end BCB Executive Committee, including forward agenda setting with CEO. Undertake specific research on a wide range of subject matter, recommending solutions/actions where appropriate as directed by the Executive. Engage senior key customers including the Group Chief Executive Office, BU offices and other Group functions. Champion and find opportunities for any change that will enhance colleague engagement and continuous improvement. Build and maintain external and internal networks to influence the strategic agenda. Liaise with Group Corporate Affairs to plan, co-ordinate and deliver both internal and external conferences. Lead and/or direct 'special projects' ensuring alignment with Group and business strategy. Organise the efficient day-to-day running of the Executives Office in conjunction with the PA. Ensure compliance with instructions, procedures, and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements. Support the BCB CEO or equivalent in managing the office and maintaining records. What You'll Need: Deep commercial understanding of the Business & Commercial Banking business. Experience in compliance with the regulatory system and high standards of conduct. Ability to make sound decisions that balance short-term needs and long-term goals. Strong commitment to professional ethics and collaboration. Passionate about making a difference with drive and determination. Ability to use analytical tools and techniques to formulate business plans. Comprehensive understanding of the Group's overall aims and policies.
