    What will you do?

Financial Administration (Initial Focus) Invoice Processing: Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices and suggesting payments.
Bookkeeping Support: Assist with daily bookkeeping, ensuring all receipts and expenses are correctly recorded.
Supplier Statement Management: Review supplier statements, ensuring we have all invoices; follow up on missing statements.
These tasks form the foundation of the role.
Although straightforward, they are essential for financial reporting and company decision-making.
Training will be provided by the FD, and the correct candidate should quickly grasp these tasks, dedicating about four hours daily within the first month.

Advanced Financial and General Administration Once the foundational tasks are well-managed, you'll take on higher-value responsibilities, which vary in nature: Plastic Packaging Tax Submissions: Ensure timely submissions with the support of the FD.
Coordination with Accountancy Firm: Liaise with the firm to gather required information for financial submissions.
Export Documentation: Manage export documentation for timely and accurate order processing.
Operator License Management: Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain operator license compliance.
Travel Arrangements: Organise flights, accommodation, and travel schedules for Directors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timings.
Department Head Collaboration: Assist department heads in prioritising and actioning requests efficiently.
Visa Management: Work with HR on Skilled Worker Visa applications, ensuring compliance.
Finance-Related Tasks: Assist with tasks like calculating bonuses, generating reports, and performing basic analysis.
Email Monitoring: Oversee the accounts@ inbox for the FD, ensuring important messages are directed to the right person.
Each of these advanced tasks will be introduced one at a time, allowing for a smooth handover and ongoing process improvement.
What We're Looking For   Full-Time, On-Site Availability: Must be based locally to work on-site in Bicester.
This will be reviewed once probation has been passed with the possibility of remote working.
High IQ and EQ: A smart, personable individual with a proactive approach.
Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
Organized and Detail-Oriented: Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.
Adaptable and Proactive: Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
Excellent Communication Skills: Professional, personable, and capable of building relationships with clients and colleagues.
Experience: Background in finance administration or executive support is preferred but not essential; we value the right mindset and eagerness to learn.
Driving License: Must be able to drive.
