Excavator Operator - Recycling

Owens Group is a fast developing, multi-site organization, with a large diverse customer base, making this an exciting opportunity.
As a result, the Dyfed Recycling branch is looking to recruit an experienced Excavator Operator to join the team in Llanelli.
We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to operate machinery and to carry out additional recycling related activities.
The right candidate will be reliable, able to work with attention to detail and adhere to safety standards.
You should also demonstrate willingness to learn and improve.
Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.
The goal will be to ensure that recycling procedures will be carried out smoothly and safely to maximize efficiency in the workplace.
Shifts: Full-time / Permanent 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday work Responsibilities Control and adjust machine settings (e.g.
speed) Problem solve issues that may occur during shifts Perform daily checks to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Keep records of defects and report to Management Maintain activity logs Working safely and efficiently whilst managing a demanding workload Other yard duties as dictated by the on-site Manager Requirements Proven experience as a machine operator Qualified to operate a 360 degree excavator with grab attachments and tele-handler with bucket attachment.
Understanding of safe working procedures Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g.
