Exam Invigilators – Basingstoke GSL Education are looking for reliable and flexible Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools in Basingstoke.
This role offers a competitive pay rate of £14.88 per hour, with the flexibility to pick up as many hours as required, fitting around your other commitments.

Role Overview As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure that exams run smoothly, monitoring students and adhering to exam regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise students during exams to ensure they adhere to exam regulations and policies.
Ensure a calm and controlled environment within the exam room.
Verify students' identification and ensure proper seating arrangements according to exam regulations.
Monitor students during the exam and report any issues or irregularities such as cheating or misconduct.
Distribute and collect exam papers in a timely and organised manner.
Assist in setting up the exam hall before the exam begins and ensure all required materials are available.
Adhere to confidentiality and integrity in all matters related to the exam process.
Ideal Candidate: No prior experience required; we provide training to become a certified exam invigilator.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Good communication skills, able to explain exam rules clearly to students.
Reliability and punctuality are essential to the role.
Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations.
Ability to follow strict instructions and maintain confidentiality.
Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
