We are working with a top US Law firm in London in their search for a Events Manager for a 6 -month maternity cover starting at the end of January.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing a variety of events, from small meetings to large conferences, ensuring they align with our firm's high standards and objectives.
You will also have support of a specialist in the team.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, client receptions, and social gatherings.
Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of events.
Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Handle event marketing and communications, including invitations, promotional materials, and post-event follow-ups.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure all events comply with health and safety regulations and firm policies.
Requirements: Proven experience as an Events Manager or high performing specialist, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in event management software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
Desirable Skills: Knowledge of the legal industry and its unique event requirements.
Experience working within a multinational or US-based organisation.
