The role of Account Manager / Producer reports to the Executive Producer of the UK office.
The role requires oversight of account management and directing the different internal teams (video, graphics, content, creative, logistics and production) to conceive, plan and deliver exceptionally high-standard live events, campaigns, and associated projects for clients - with a specific focus on the service levels, identifying growth areas and working with in house teams to ensure the delivery of compelling content & messaging.
This includes working closely with clients on a strategic and planning level and overseeing and guiding the team across varied projects that fulfil clients' objectives.
Core Responsibilities Client management – Nurturing relationships with existing and new client accounts by understanding client strategy to enable higher-level conversations and seeking out client opportunities.
Account growth - targeting and measurable account growth as agreed and in conjunction with the account executive sponsor.
Project management – full responsibility for managing the delivery of owned projects.
Taking on or overseeing others in briefing internal departments, supplier liaison, content development, technical, logistics and delegate management.
Financial management – Responsible for job profitability and maximising margin in line with agreed targets Process and quality control – maintaining a high quality of execution in everything we produce to ensure client satisfaction score exceeds targets as set by the business.
Production - Scope project requirements, build, brief and motivate internal and external teams.
Ensure the smooth running and client satisfaction on any project size, type or deliverable.
Sustainability - be a sustainability champion in the team and ensure all projects incorporate our sustainability planning tools and procedures from the onset of the project Resource management – Working with the Operations Director and HoD to ensure effective allocation of resources within the team so that clients are best serviced and achieve performance targets.
New business – identify new business opportunities within existing clients Strategic and content development – work alongside creative teams to gain understanding of clients' objectives and help drive creative content and messaging to meet/ exceed client objectives.
Line management – Line Management of Producers including development / KPI goal setting through formal appraisals and day to day mentoring/ management to ensure smooth running of projects, profitability and client expectations met/ managed.
Leadership – leads by example, establishes trust and respect.
Personal Attributes & Essential Skills Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels across many disciplines A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect from clients & colleagues by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining a friendly composure in stressful situations Highly organised with a keen sense of attention to detail Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills.
Qualifications We welcome mid-level - senior candidates with at least five years of experience at the Account Manager / Producer level.
Confident and articulate in the field of experiential events and marketing Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment Proven ability and experience in full project management of events and campaigns Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of clients.
