Company: Magic Number LTD    Role - Full time – Senior Level    Working - Based in our Bristol office     We are searching for an experienced Business Operations Director to champion and lead our in-house production company and warehouse 'The Magic Hub'.
To integrate best practices, bring in new business opportunities and manage the day-to-day output of the team    'The Magic Hub' is a 35,000-square-foot production workshop and warehouse operation with storage inside and out for clients' event assets.
The workshop currently fully serves Magic Number clients for all their brand activation needs from large festival installations to experiential events and all needs in between.
Moving forward, we are looking to expand the services and database for the hub to be a year-round operation to produce work for new clients and partners who require production services.
The Business Operations Director will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the production and workshop team.
This will include our Senior Production Manager, Art Department Lead and Workshop Manager.
Underneath these teams are support roles from carpenters to warehouse assistants who are line-managed by the team previously mentioned.
It will be their responsibility to make sure projects are running on time and on budget, bringing feedback from clients directly to the teams and making sure we are delivering against the designs presented.
The Role    Delivering strategic direction to your clients and team across your portfolio of brands and events and new business  Lead on new business pipeline for production opportunities with upsell to full campaign management and brand partnerships   Leading the team to deliver multiple production projects across the year from conception to delivery.
The lead go to for client comms, updates and reporting on all production aspects.
Providing production and logistics budgets to the Campaign Management team from the production and warehouse teams collective quotes.
Overseeing Budget management, reporting and reconciliation across all production team members.
Working alongside the Founders and Creative Director to identify and drive opportunities to grow The Magic Hub portfolio including new opportunities for clients, new services, and new trends.
Reviewing and analysing The Magic Hub's projects with a view to achieving future efficiencies whilst ensuring all work is delivered with the highest of standards and surpasses client's expectations.
Working with all departments within the company on elements needed and keeping them up to date with client feedback.
Ensuring all correct paperwork is created and submitted including RAMS and Licenses for the Campaign Management team.
Run The Hub as an internal business, an overview of best practices, across all team spending, rates, overheads and staffing.
Reporting to the founders on targets and overall campaign achievements as required    What you need for the role:     At least 3 years' experience working as an Account Director or similar level within an event agency environment.
Strong new business acumen with large scale budgets and your own black book of contacts  Self-starter   Strong production knowledge with previous experience in quoting, material use, build management.
Experience being the lead to deliver large scale builds and brand activation campaigns from a production perspective  A background in people management and staffing with clear directive on how to best support and grow a core field team.
Experience managing budgets of more than £1m with proven abilities in growing client revenue.
A strong knowledge of event production requirements and experience with large scale installations at festivals.
The ability to effectively project manage multiple campaigns and production elements simultaneously  Strong presentation skills needed as well as creative input.
Commercially astute   Efficient in Excel and budget management  A passion for live events, large scale productions and festivals.
