The Role We are looking for someone to become an integral part of our wider team.
The role will encompass event admin, customer support, ticket management & general event administration.
You will be the glue that holds our events together, helping book travel, accommodation, event staff and help with general enquiries from our speakers.
As a small company, you will be able to get involved in other areas of the business like customer support and research.
The role requires a high level of attention to detail and time management skills.
We book over 500 dates a year so the role will be demanding, but extremely rewarding!
Responsibilities Sending advance emails to speakers, staff and venues Arranging travel and accommodation for speakers Preparing introduction slides for our events on google slides Replying to customer enquiries & escalating serious issues Uploading events to our ticketing sites Assisting the events team with event management and operations Tracking and maintaining communication with speakers, venues and staff on event issues Researching new venues for us to host talks in Researching new speakers for us to work with Data entry and reporting (google sheets) Brainstorming content and speaker ideas for our talks As a small and rapidly growing company, these responsibilities may change and we will need you to be open to taking on new tasks The Profile First and foremost we are seeking someone who has a passion for events and the topics we program.
The successful candidate will be adept at problem solving, can work independently in a methodical and meticulous manner.
There is huge scope for you in this role to develop new skills and we are very big on personal development at Seed Talks.
It is crucial you are an organised individual with experience of maintaining a high level of accuracy and output while juggling multiple projects.

Experience in event admin or another admin based role A decent understanding of google sheets & google docs Experience managing events Experience managing stakeholder relationships An ability to build rapport with new people An ability to conduct research quickly and effectively An ability to communicate in an efficient and concise manner Caring and considerate to represent us to our customers in the best possible way Event creation & business development experience is a big plus!
