Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a LIMS European Sales Manager at Autoscribe Informatics.
The role involves managing business development and sales activities in the European market, excluding the United Kingdom and Ireland, including identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.
The successful Sales Manager will also collaborate with internal teams to develop sales strategies, conduct product demonstrations, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to: Responsible for Business Development and Sales in Europe for all Autoscribe and Xybion products.
Build and manage a sales team in the European Territory, as appropriate.
Achieve yearly sales order target figures as reported in the approved budget.
Create an annual sales plan for the European Territory.
Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business targets – especially managing personal time and productivity.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers by using all available sales methods and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
Ensure that sales enquiries are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
Use in-house tools and systems to keep customer and prospect information up to date at all times.
Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
Initiate sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments.
Demonstrate the Autoscribe software solutions at an initial level and work with the Technical Specialists, supporting the sales department to create demo systems tailored to specific customer requirements.
Recommend Xybion products (Pristima, QMS, Compliance Builder etc) to existing customers and new opportunities, as appropriate.
Contribute to closing new business deals by overcoming objections, coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Attend exhibitions and conferences as required.
Contribute to ideas for marketing campaigns and new product development planning.
Produce highlight reports on a monthly basis for the UK Management meeting.
Initial Objectives for the successful candidate will include: Learning the Autoscribe and Xybion product portfolio: Extensive knowledge of Xybion LIMS will be required to enable the performance of product demonstrations and awareness of Xybion products, for example Pristima, QMS, Compliance Builder etc and recommend these products to existing customers and new opportunities as appropriate.
Building relationships with existing Autoscribe and Xybion customers in the European Territory.
Building a pipeline for the European Territory.
Identifying improvements required in relation to demo systems.
Creating a sales plan for 2025-2026 and presenting this by the end of January 2025.
